This report is a joint project of the Amazon Environmental Research Institute (IPAM), Woods Hole Research Center (WHRC) and the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). It is about Amazon deforestation and the potential for reducing greenhouse gas emissions from Tropical Forests.

Tanguro Project – Report

The Tanguro Project has begun in 2004 focusing on the development of innovative techniques for the recovery of degraded areas at the agricultural frontier. Since then, the goals have expanded.
