O principal objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar como os recursos financeiros acessados por meio do ICMS Verde tem promovido, direta ou indiretamente, a adoção de medidas que promovam a conservação socioambiental em cinco municípios paraenses. Dentre os municípios selecionados, Altamira, Anapu, Brasil Novo e Placas estão localizados na região da Rodovia Transamazônica e fazem parte do Consórcio Intermunicipal de Desenvolvimento Sustentável da Transamazônica e Xingu (CIDS).
