Ane Alencar, em audiência pública realizada pela Comissão de Meio Ambiente do Senado Federal, em 9 de março de 2022, com o objetivo de discutir medidas que precisam ser tomadas para evitar o aumento do desmatamento e as queimadas na Amazônia, no Pantanal, no Cerrado e na Mata Atlântica a partir do segundo semestre de 2022.
