O CONSERV é um mecanismo privado e de adesão voluntária que remunera produtores rurais da Amazônia Legal que se comprometam a conservar a mata nativa que, por lei, poderia ser suprimida.
A iniciativa foi lançada em outubro de 2020 pelo IPAM (Instituto de Pesquisa Ambiental da Amazônia), junto ao EDF (Environmental Defense Fund) e ao Woodwell Climate Research Center, com apoio dos governos da Noruega e dos Países Baixos.
