Durante a COP15, algumas instituições elaboraram essa carta sobre “O papel potencial do manejo florestal em REDD”, cujo seu lançamento ocorreu também durante a conferência. O documento está em inglês.

If properly designed, REDD could tip the balance towards responsible, certified logging, thus squeezing out illegal operations. Responsible forestry should be coupled with measures to reduce the flow and irresponsibly harvested timber into consumer markets.
