O relatório “Instrumentos financeiros para a agricultura sustentável: o estudo de caso do Mato Grosso” é resultado do trabalho conjunto do Global Canopy Program (GCP) e do Instituto de Pesquisa Ambiental da Amazônia (IPAM) no projeto “Unlocking Forest Finance” (UFF). Desde 2013, o UFF trabalha na construção de opções de investimentos para o uso sustentável da terra em três regiões da Amazônia: San Martín, no Peru; Mato Grosso e Acre, no Brasil. No Mato Grosso, o IPAM liderou este trabalho que envolveu pesquisa e análises das cadeias produtivas agropecuárias. A equipe do UFF avaliou o potencial para zerar o desmatamento sem afetar o aumento da produção agropecuária do estado de Mato Grosso.
