A degradação de florestas amazônicas precisa ser combatida

Documento aponta caminhos para o aprimoramento do  PPCDAm (Plano de Ação para Prevenção e Controle do Desmatamento na Amazônia Legal), a fim de tornar a prevenção e o combate à degradação um tema prioritário na agenda ambiental brasileira. Atualmente, este é o principal projeto para conter desmatamento no país, e está na fase de consulta pública. Mas os pesquisadores alertam que temos que ir além de conter desmatamento e combater a degradação na Amazônia também.
