Esse projeto é parte da International Climate Initiative (IKI). O Ministério Federal do Ambiente, da Conservação da Natureza, da Construção e Segurança Nuclear (BMUB) apoia essa iniciativa com base em uma decisão adotada pelo Bundestag alemão.
