The film portrays Raoni Metuktire’s life and activism defending human rights and environmental conservation. It also documents his gathering of Indigenous peoples in Piaraçu Village, on the banks of the Xingu River, in July 2023. Chief Raoni Metuktire, the Mebêngôkre (Kayapó) people’s leader, convened the meeting. The documentary reinforces the 30 years’ commitment to supporting the Indigenous rights movement, since its foundation.
Since its debut, worldwide events have screened the documentary, spreading Raoni’s message overseas.
