Deputy Director of Public Policy at IPAM, Ms. Savian has a degree in Agronomy from the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC) in 2007, with a specialization in Economics and Environment from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) in 2009. She worked as a technical officer and director at EcoRural Environment and Development, advising on processes of adaptation and environmental regularization for rural properties, rural activities and technical expertise, land tenure and land market, and in third sector institutions and consultancies related to the environment, climate and sustainable development. She has experience in project elaboration, execution, and coordination; in preparation, implementation, facilitation of participatory processes, and monitoring of public policies to curb deforestation, and implement environmental regularization, land regularization, and payment for environmental services.
